DIY - Paving - 04/12/2009

Our great Queensland weather allows us to make so much use of our outdoors. Would having a new courtyard or patio give you more room for when family and friends come around for a bbq, or simply be a space for you to relax on the weekends.

Paving is not difficult, it just takes time, some muscle and a little know-how. Our DIY Paving Videos can help you with all the tips to get a professional finish for your job.

You will find out how to lay a firm foundation for your pavers to lay on. Then how to get the sand level and positioned so that water will run off easily. You will also see how to cut and place your pavers, and how to finish the job well.

Recently at home we have built an inground swimming pool, and after much debate decided on paving rather than decking for the pool surround. We could not be happier with our choice. We now have a long-lasting, hard-wearing, easy-care surface that looks great and adds to the whole feel of the house.

The pavers we chose were a match for the pool coping so it is one continuous space, making it feel and look bigger than it is... it is just so inviting!

When choosing your pavers, wether you want to match your house colours or contrast with them, make patterns in your pavers or keep them plain Centenary Landscaping has the range to suit all your needs. Check out our pavers section and if you have any enquiries, just give the team a call.

Happy Landscaping!
