This is a soil conditioner for improving the structure of hard clay soil. Searles Natural Gypsum is ideal for breaking up heavy clay soils that crust, without altering the pH of those soils in any way.

Regular use of gypsum will improve drainage and aeration of garden beds and lawns.

Dolomite

Dolomite helps to increase soil pH increasing the availability of soil nutrients. Calcium is a very important element in all plants, as it helps to strengthen plant cell walls. However, do not use on acid loving plants such as camellias, azaleas and rhododendrons.

Deficiencies
Calcium deficiency: can often be noticed in the younger leaves (higher leaves on the plant or at the tip of the branch). General symptom include stunting of plant growth, paling of young leaves, even blackening of leaf tips and margins. Petals tend to appear water-soaked, due to loss of cell structure.

Magnesium deficiency: can often be noticed in older leaves (lower leaves on the plant). General symptoms include a bronze-yellow discolouration along the leaf margins towards the tip.
